O.T. (Organic Traced) leathers are sourced from 100% organic-certified farms in Uruguay, known for their cattle-raising culture and leather quality. These leathers represent the softest and finest grade of cattle hide, undergoing a mechanical pounding process that makes them thin and flexible. Compared to traditional Brazilian leathers, they require fewer dyes during the tanning process. VEJA uses traditional dyes that comply with regulations and pays particular attention to water usage during the tanning process.

More than 50% of the materials in this product are sourced from sustainable origins.

Since 2005, VEJA has been creating sneaker models with a unique mindset focused on social projects, economic justice, and ecological materials. The brand uses organic cotton from Brazil and Peru for canvas and laces, Amazonian rubber for soles, and a variety of innovative materials made from recycled plastic bottles or polyester for other components.
