Ripstop fabric has a reinforced structure as it is resistant to tearing thanks to its network-shaped pattern consisting of thin and thicker intertwined threads. If there is a tear in the fabric, it will be narrowed to the perimeter of the square. Since it is a lightweight material, it is often used in outdoor activities that require solid technical expertise.
