ArtDog Istanbul is an online and print cultural magazine focused on contemporary art. This artistic journey, which began in 2019, covers various disciplines such as theater, music, literature, cinema, design, fashion, and architecture. Aiming to break down barriers between art and its audience, ArtDog Istanbul acts as a bridge between global and local art platforms, offering a vibrant portrait of the dynamic changes in Istanbul’s art and culture scene.
The 24th issue of ArtDog Istanbul, titled "The Limits of Perception," awaits its readers.
This fall is full of colorful and inspiring art events, offering a refreshing contrast to the bleak current affairs. Doug Aitken’s exhibition at Borusan Contemporary explores the boundaries of time, space, and memory, while Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum showcases Georg Baselitz’s works from the past decade. Istanbul Modern features Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota’s large-scale installation made from thread, and Odunpazarı Modern Museum celebrates its 5th anniversary with the nature-themed “Ehlikeyif” exhibition. Meanwhile, the Çanakkale Biennial focuses on youth and the connection between art and technology. It’s time to embrace the transformative power of art this fall!
