Atelier September: A place for daytime cooking is the first cookbook dedicated to the famous Copenhagen restaurant, featuring recipes from owner Frederik Bille Brahe with exclusive access to Atelier September's most iconic dishes. The 86 recipes mostly offer veggie takes on breakfast, lunch, desserts and AS staples, including "Avocado mad". They all focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Frederik presents with the same candor the recipes he shaped in his first, best-selling book, Apartamento, including recipes for light, financier-like pancakes, seasonal soups and salads, and matcha-flavored desserts. An introduction and poetic interludes written by Frederik offer a glimpse into A.S's early days and culinary inspirations, setting the backdrop for the story of what would become one of the most celebrated restaurants in Copenhagen. Edited by Jeni Porter and photographed by Rasmus Weng Karlsen, Atelier September is a homecoming of sorts, through the memories evoked by familiar tastes and beautiful objects, as well as the lifelong friendships we make around the table where we come together.
