Iron oxide pigments, recycled glass, and materials collected from the mines of Thrace have undergone design, development, and testing processes in Lal Pekin's studio before taking their place at vitruta Space. Using clay as her main medium of expression, Lal Pekin creates artistic and functional ceramic works while highlighting the making process of the final pieces.

These pieces, which bear traces of the characteristic properties of clays and the tools used in traditional hand-forming techniques, can be seen at the exhibition featuring works by Lal Pekin's artist friends, Hilal Can and Efe Işılaksoy aka rastarules.

The event, which also showcases a collection designed exclusively for vitruta by Sou Forms, will continue at vitruta Space until April 25th.
