Auditory Archive No. #02: Ulya Soley
The second guest of Auditory Archive, a project that invites you to explore the musical world of those close to vitruta.

Ulya, who serves as a Curator and Publications Editor at Pera Museum, completed their undergraduate studies in Art History and Psychology at McGill University before earning their master’s degree in Culture, Criticism, and Curation at Central Saint Martins. Some of their recent projects include “Souvenirs of the Future” at Pera Museum, “all familiar, all foreign” at Versus Art Project, and “How shall we dress for the occasion?” at 601 Artspace in New York
Exploring speculative future scenarios through a queer feminist lens, their recent work delves into ways of forming horizontal relationships with nature in resistance to patriarchy and capitalism’s cultural dominance.
For Auditory Archive, Ulya Soley has curated a selection that drifts between deep electronic rhythms and hypnotic sonic textures—perhaps even speculative (queer feminist) worlds.
Enjoy.
