There are so many stories to be told, remembered, and imagined about Pera. Pera Palas, where Agatha Christie wrote Murder on the Orient Express, is here. The iconic Grand Hotel de Londres, where people would gather after festivals, is also here. The Pride March, the tree that unites us all, the toasts raised against the sunset from the rooftop taverns, the human-like seagulls, the sound of tram bells, and the chime of church bells—right in the midst of all these, we gather with the Peralı people. A nostalgic, artistic, literary, and lively table.
On April 14th, we came together for "Pera’da Bir Suare" with fellow Peralı people. We started off with some delightful conversations at vitruta, paired with wines and cheeses provided by Comedus. Then, we headed next door to Aheste for dinner. The neighborhood, the people, and the conversations—all revolved around Pera.
